Public Sculpture Process

Construction of public sculpture is a multi-step process involving research, design, drawings, modeling, engineering, public presentations, construction, foundation design and construction, and installation. This sculpture is kinetic and interactive — people who spin the base in the center will cause the top to spin — requiring the design and construction of many technical elements that may not be obvious to the casual observer.
